One of the great things about working here is the variety of projects. There’s always something interesting going on. If you grew up in a big family, you’ll know what I mean. Sometimes, it’s all hands on deck for a big project with lots of moving parts.

I was walking past Ned’s office and was called in. One of Ned’s friends from high school had stopped by to visit. Ned still has his friends from high school. I’ve lost track of many of my old friends.  Anyway, the big idea was for S&J to give a thank you party/luncheon for the women who work here. (There are over forty of us.)

This friend must have the goods on Ned from Viewmont High School, because he said yes and then waved me into his office to help Elise pull this luncheon together.

We decided on a Paris/Eiffel Tower theme. And French food of course; Salade Chinoise & Quiche Lorraine, French cheeses with French breads and unsalted butter. There were huge bowls filled with fresh fruit salads.

Gourmandise was kind enough to prepare a special order of very delicious and decadent French pastries. Tres magnifique!  All of this laid out on bright French Provencale tablecloths.

Guerlain Paris agreed to have a couple of women from Nordstrom Stores, April & Trudy come to the office and give us facials, makeovers, and show us high-end skin care products. Yes, we were even given samples of products we might never afford…

We played French music, we had Eiffel tower posters and Monet prints. It was a visual feast as well. Each guest received an Eiffel Tower charm and product samples from Nordstrom.

Please check out all the photos on our NedandMitch Facebook page!

It was so much fun.  Merci beaucoup NedandMitch!
